Airedale Heifer

Been a regular for quite sometime but today has failed myself n chap. Lasagne lacking pasta - more like mince with cheese sauce tasty but deffo not lasagne. Cow pie dry watm up with reheated chips. Tasty but very disappointed despite ern replaced. Sorry guys but standards slipped.

If you visit here ask for the 'doggy section'. Despite booking a week in advance we were sat next to a large family party with a table full of noisy children constantly banging against our chairs. The food was fine but the ambience seriously lacking.

Service was very good along with comfortable surroundings. Steak pie meal - the plate was swimming in cravy whereas it should really have been in a gravy boat so I could choose the amount I wanted on my food. The chips and peas were both served in little aluminium buckets which sat in my gravy , good job I had one serviette to stand the gravy dripping buckets on after I'd emptied the contents onto my plate. The one redeeming factor was the steak pie which had lovely chunks of beef in it. Drinks - were served from a tray which again was swimming in spilt liquid, so without any beer mats to soak up, resulted in dripping liquid on my lap. I won't be going back again. Please think about the way you serve your food; or is it supposed to be trendy, which really is not practical but actually repulsive.

Sunday lunch was lovely, large portions. Staff very friendly and polite. This was our 1st visit, we will be back.
