Yorkshire Building Society

Having been at YBS for 34 years we are going to leave. They changed our key card account and the new terms have restrictions on them that benefit YBS and not the holder. On a recent visit I couldn't draw from a branch in keighley above 500 in cash, I was told it was the managers discretion, I must have looked shifty in my motorcycle jacket as i did not pass the test. Then they had the cheek to ask what I needed it for ? I needed the cash quickly, but I will not be told by this rather dated building society what Iam using my money for nor if I am deserving of my own money dictated to by their crass terms. I urge anyone with an account to be aware of the terms and conditions and the sly changes they make, and move your accounts to a more friendly bank or building society. We will be moving after the 34 years with YBS to a more friendly one. Don't do them a favour do yourself one and move. Sent from my Galaxy

I've been going to Keighley Yorkshire Building Society for over 20 years now and I've always been treated with respect. I know that I can always chat to the tellers like I would in a shop. Any problems Ive had have also been rectified very quickly. Well done Keighley YBS.
