Whiskers & Cream.

We received an afternoon tea gift voucher which we claimed via email. I received a response straight away and was able to book in the same week. Decent afternoon tea, nice to see a variety of options on the menu. We chose pescatarian and gluten free. The cats were gorgeous although most were asleep, and sadly weren't interested in the toys. The staff were really attentive and introduced us to the cats on arrival which was really nice. We booked Thursday at 1pm (1.5 hr time slot), it was very quiet! You can walk around freely and stroke the cats, but can't pick them up.

As a cat lover, I was really looking forward to this. The menu needs improvement, it was a bit random and not enough fillings for sandwiches. Sandwiches come with about 3 tortilla chips and some hard garlic sticks which were not great at all. Only other savoury option was again, random as it was only some tortilla chips with some toppings? Banana bread was bland and didnt taste of banana how it should. Very underwhelming. The service was a bit slow and although this is sort of out of their control, the cats didnt want to interact at all and just slept in high places so it was again, underwhelming. The merchandise was very over priced, a tiny badge was 5 each.

We visited this place for afternoon tea. the staff gave us warm welcomed, then they became too busy chit-chatting with each other. Not paying attention. We had to ask for cover 3 times. We picked whiskers delight package for food. Sandwiches were good and scones were warm, we really liked it. We didn't like the desserts though. All of them were too sweet and that great apart from the mousse. They have 10 lovely cats, they are very moody like every other cat. Some are pedigree but most of them are rescue. None of them will come to you, but you can walk around try to get their attention. They weren't in very friendly mood though. I got a chance to pet some of them but my partner couldn't. They didn't wanted to play either. But it's fun watching them running around and being lazy. If you think food wise the place is overpriced, but they use the money for cats welfare. So, I was okay with it.
