Ive been a patient here for years and I have noticed a very recent decline in service mainly with the receptionists and admin representatives. They dont seem to know what they are doing at all. My favourite receptionist here recently quit for bad treatment but would not expand on that. And recently I called for a blood pressure check and was told they were fully booked and told to go to their pharmacy for it. I called the pharmacy to find out that they no longer offer blood pressure checks. Then I called the GP again and was connected with the same receptionist who hung up on me immediately. I called again and was connected with a different receptionist who told me they could offer a blood pressure check next week. I think I need to look for another GP. Also I almost forgot, not long ago I had an appointment due to an issue with my right ankle. The male doctor insisted I remove all lower clothing for him to do an assessment, even when I told him I was uncomfortable with this. FYI, I am female and underage and had no parent or guardian in the room.

My experience of The Junction Medical Practice is that their receptionists are poorly trained, and poorly educated, being "nice" is not enough and essentially it's phoney. The doctors are ultimately useless, all they can do is make referrals or prescribe medication. What it appears to me is that the doctors lack empathy, do not understand how it is to be patient, sensitive and friendly. They are condescending, refuse to listen, and quite happy if someone suffers as long as they keep their job. It's disgraceful. You have to wait two weeks for just a phone call, which is deplorable, which often ends up inconclusive or unsatisfactory. One would assume being a doctor entails caring for one's clients, this is not true. There is a creepy feeling of covert narcissism and a passive aggressive approach which is clearly transparent. Simply speaking, if you want real human contact, to feel two humans have communicated with mutual respect, do not expect it here. They clearly have used COVID-19 as a means of reducing services and hence a reduction in quality. The reality is their practice has damaged my mental state, the very opposite of their image, absolutely pathetic. 20 years ago they had real humans working there, now it's a bunch of reptiles with a stunted cerebral cortex. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR INTIMATE DETAILS< they will abuse it, which is typical to narcissism. Rant over, heal yourself, you have the power within you ;)
