I have used this pharmacy for many years and have found, over the past 3 years, their service has deteriorated. I rely on the pharmacy to request my repeat prescriptions, on my behalf, from my gp surgery. On a frequent basis prescriptions are not ready to collect on the time, the monthly prescription is due. When prescriptions are being collected it is not uncommon for items not to be available, requiring subsequent visits. I have had people attend the chemist on my behalf to collect a prescription, having been told it was ready to be collected over the phone, only to find the prescription was in fact not ready for collection at all. This over time has meant the timeframe for prescriptions has now moved from the 21st of the month to the end of the month, resulting in going without vital asthma medications. This poor standard of service is unacceptable.
