DMC Iwade Health Centre

Simple the worst surgery I have ever been assigned to. I've been with these Doctors for over 15 years. Now disabled with a damaged back that requires strong painkillers(oxynorm). Every week it's a constant chase for my prescription to be done. They ask you to ring up then they change it, now it's write on a piece of paper and hand it in. And this is the best bit you must wait 24/48/72 hrs for your prescription if it is ever done. But God for sake you ring up and ask a receptionist where your prescription is. Worst people ever to ask, no words can describe how rude they can be. I wish I could change my Doctors and be treated like a normal human being with my rights and not have have to chase up my tablets. Appointments what are they!!!

Unbelievable, takes 9 calls to get through the other 8 I was waiting in a que for 15 mins then cut off, the first time Ive needed this surgery in 10 years and its abysmal, the trust or management should be sweeping the streets instead, even when I was given an appointment at sheppy health centre, it took me another 3 hours to get through on the phone to cancel the original appointment

If I could give 0 stars I would!! So unprofessional and rude on the phones. They said we can not request a sick note till the day that your sicknote expires but than they make you wait for 5 days (which is too late) to give you your renewal with a wrong diagnosis and wrong period of time and when you call them to speak to someone the receptionist gets mad at you because she is tired of patients calling first thing in the morning. A big NO!

Totally abismal service. Reception staff lie & say they will ring you & they don't. They can't even be bothered to ring to tell you the nurse hasn't arrived for your appointment, so you don't find out until you get there. The nurse was expected 2 hours previously so it wasn't as if they didn't know. The previous managing company of this centre were bad, but no improvement with current owners. Doesn't deserve even 1 star but needed to give a star to review.
