If you are a member of the Somalian community I believe you will like this school alot as the school is made up predominantly of Somalis. In a ideal world I would prefer a more mixed school. The school is set on a tower block estate though which has a large Somali community so I guess its to be expected. Large class sizes (33/34) But wont go over 35 apparently.... Several teachers throughout the week along with various TAs not 1 teacher & a TA as you might expect for this age range. The headteacher is nice & will listen to any concerns etc you have as are some of the teachers and TAs. However my childs class still seems to face constant disruptions from certain children & I really feel when they are in final PC years there really should be more order in the class & a zero tolerance policy for unruly children. And that that policy is upheld. With what seems & feels like way 2 many teachers throughout the week for 1 class though I do feel like certain people may think let me just make it to the end of the day & tomorrow will be somebody elses problem. Would I recommend this school to anyone in the area or moving to the area?? Absolutely not. I still believe consistency is key and I dont feel that that is happening here.
