Shambles. Offer you a quote on comparison sites, when forwarded to their site you need to call them to confirm the policy, one hour of hold music later and the underwriter isnt in so you will be contacted 3 days later. No contact 3 days later, so I try to call again, an hour on hold again and when they answer the rep cant hear me (happy to accept that these things happen.) Third attempt to call, more than an hour on hold and Im the next customer in the line and after 5 minutes of being the next customer Im bumped down the list of customers to customer number 4. Total waste of time and a backwards way of running a company, seriously save yourselves some aggro and dont bother with them.

UPDATE 2 - This company is running a bait and switch scam, they will create fictiusous reason to not honour your online quotes. In my case they said i had selected social only as the use of the car and not social and commuting (even mention it again in the responce to this review). THIS IS NOW A PROVEN LIE. Under the 2008 Data Protection act i request MoneySupermarket share with me the data that they sent to "Got You Covered". They responded as follows :- "Following receipt of the requested information and a copy of your valid ID, the Customer Data team were available to obtain and share with you the data. We have reviewed the data and can confirm the quote provided by Got You Covered under reference GYCMS-93S2XXXX showed that you did select 'Social and Commuting' as your intended use and not 'Social only'. Furthermore, we have liaised with our Operational Team who have confirmed there is no mapping issue and therefore we accurately shared your data with Got You Covered." UNAQUIVICAL PROOF THAT THIS COMPANY HAS LIED AND ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A SCAM OPERATION UPDATE 1 ON REPONCE TO GOT YOU COVERED - as mentioned in my original review the details filled in on the MoneySuperMarket quote tool were wholly accurate. The accusation that i did not select "Social and Commuting" are an excuse used by this company to withdraw competitive prices and hit you with one more than double. It's a classic bait and switch scam for which i will be reporting to trading standards. Given an attractive price online but when you ring up they make up a reason for you not to have it then hit you with a quote twice as much. They told me i hadn't selected that i was using the car for Commuting which was untrue and can clearly be evidenced as such from my quote history on MoneySuperMarket. Avoid wasting your time. If it's too good it usually is.
