Giggles Day Nursery

I first took my son to this nursery in January. He literally loves it! He tells me every morning how excited he is to go there and play with his friends and how much he loves the food. Knowing I can leave my son in a nursery where he is in good hands and do not have to worry is the best thing ever. The staff are patient, they always take their time to listen tothe kids individually and they are always nice and friendly. Clean, welcoming, friendly are just a few words that describe this nursery! I recommended it to my friends and I strongly recommend it to you too.

When it came to sending my little boy to nursery there were a lot of things i worried about as a first time mum, but when i brought my little boy to come look at Giggles i knew straight away that, this was the nursery i was going to send my son too. From the beginning with his settling in days i could tell how my little boy was made to feel comfortable, happy but most importantly safe. Which was & still is the most important thing. Since starting the nursery 9 months ago. I have noticed such a change in my little boy. At home i can hear him signing away with some of the songs they sing, when were out and about he can recognise different things from theme's they have learnt about or even the enthusiasm when he is telling what he has been up too during his day at nursery. Also one thing i really appricate about all the staff at the nursery is that regardless of their postition or role they all have taken the time to individually get too know my little boy & not just as a person, but the little things he likes doing & what he is into which can make all the difference. Id reccommend this nursery & am happy knowing that my son is well looked after and happy to see his "friends" there, along with the structure and routine.

My son was going there for few months at age of 2. The premises are dark and old/dirty looking. The kids under 2 are separated from the older only with plastic gates, no way the can sleepin quite . There is no requirement to bring your own water bottle, during the summer time, my son came back from the nursery very thirsty. Despite the owner, who is very chaotic and unprofessional the permanent careers are lovely. Unfortunately a lot of staff is temporally and agency staff frequently changes. There was never someone to tell you how your kid's day was, no dedicated to perticular group person. Food - no meal plans, rather , no information on ongoing activities. Garden is very small and messy, no place for running. Organisation of the nursery is very poor. For all these reasons we changed to a different nursery - complete opposite with only possittives. I do not recommend.

Our son attended this amazing little nursery for more than a year. Unfortunately, we moved out of the area and had to change nurseries. Even after 4 months of leaving, our 4-year-old son remembers his teachers from Giggle's Day Nursery and remains very fond of them. The team is so dedicated to the children's learning and development through fun and innovative activities. They were always very kind towards parents as well and great at giving us their time for feedback. Their monthly newsletter for the parents is very informative. My husband and I felt that our son was in safe and loving hands every morning we left him in their care. The staff are so warm that the atmosphere inside feels more like a home environment, although the building from outside does not look very impressive. They get to know the children so well and provide care geared towards their individual needs. Our son was provided with a lot of love and stimulation and we will always be grateful to Lorraine (Manager), Tanya, Sophia, Nadine, Meg and all the rest of the staff who took such good care of him. I would recommend this nursery to any parents who have young children in the local area. A big big thank you to all the staff from Aleks and his parents.
