There is a notice on the door telling you where to go and get the key, then you can let yourself in. Then return the keys when done.

Locked up and just a building on a very small patch of land. The rear garden is just lawn and inaccessible. Definitely not a destination to visit. Pointless

A very interesting Benedictine priory church and grade 1 listed building . Apparently only one or two monk's would have lived here which in my reckoning would have given them more space and made them luckier than your average joe of the day . Unfortunately closed when I visited but there is a great church next door . The information board says it was probably built in the early 12th century and closed about 1440 when it was given to Pembroke College Cambridge . I loved it anyway and was pleased to have seen it . Wikipedia says there is a tunnel linking the Priory to the Church and the Church to a shop in the village . Hmmm its up to you if you believe this but i didn't see it stated on the official board but as I said I didn't get inside . I would like to know how many of these buildings around the country are said to have tunnels like this I know of quite a few and lots have interesting stories attached to them .
