        A climb from car park area just at the base on the South Eastern side near Binsey Cottage. No facilities. Great picnic location. Stop regular for breath (quite steep) and to look back for changing views of Bassenthwaite Lake and a little lake called Overwater towered over by Skiddaw range. Stunning!!! EVEN ROCK FREE surface all the way so great for families with juniors or as a build up for more technical climbs. 360 views from top. A Great sunset location. Views of sea and Solway to the North and West river Derwent winding its way along to the west. Lake views to south. A cairn on top to explore. A Great short walk to feel on top of the world. Highly recommended for all.
