Irchester Surgery

Been unable to get an appointment for 3 days in a row due to the GP being fully booked. The receptionist advised that I need to call earlier at 8am to get an appointment, I told her that it isn't feasible for me to do so and she advised that I need to get someone to call on my behalf. I don't have anyone that can do that for me. The GP needs to be able to cater for people with these situations!!!! Useless GP surgery.

Diabolical. Have serious issues and been unable to see doctor for over 2.5 years. Doctor said she would do referral to hospital, found out 2 months later it hadnt been done. Receptionist said she would get it sorted,called following week-still not done. Called the week after that still not sorted. 4 weeks later still not done. When referral finally happened it I was referred to WRONG department.when finally got correct referral and I tried to make appointment, there were none available and was told to wait for call back but if not heard owt in 2 months to contact them(which I did) only to be told referral consultant discharged back to this doctors as no information was received with referral.6 weeks ago. Found out today the doctors have finally replied to consultant 3weeks after initial request from consultant , asking what information is needed! Consultant has still had NO INFORMATION from doctors 3 weeks after doctors supposedly replied. How many people have died or been denied medical because of this surgerys incompetence

Cant get face to face appointment for 4 years old. Asked to get a cab and go to another surgery. Still waiting. No help whatsoever.

The absolute pits of a surgery, waiting 2 weeks for a receptionist to talk to a doctor who should have sent a referral 4 weeks ago.. Spoke to by one particular member of staff like I was nothing.. All in all the worst gp practice I've ever encountered

Considering the amount of pressure the health service is under me and my family are so far very happy with the service provided. Our children were always helped or seen if needed to and we were also called back or seen when needed to and given the right advice, help or onwards referrals. I believe that staff at Irchester surgery is doing their best to meet the ridiculous demand. Thank you all.
