Very bad experience unfortunately. Due to the very high cost of many advised 'Red' status additional works following Service & MOT, being unwilling to investigate/repair a known issue, handed back with an unresolved issue, plus concerning faulty workmanship, I was forced to seek a second opinion elsewhere from an independent mechanic. Only ONE issue needed attention and at a fraction of the price (nearly 200 less!) , no other additional work was required including 1,581 for an air-con pump that wasn't even leaking, then 2 'worn' bushes at 531.25 EACH, plus worn brakes & 'scored/corroded' disks that will be good for at least until the next service or 10-20k miles! There is a severe lack of trust, honest advice, knowledge and good workmanship and all at a very, very high cost. I was advised that 'Red' status is given (which to me means urgent) to cover themselves, unfortunately this is misleading and not very helpful to the customer, destroying trust. They did finally refund the labour cost of the faulty work and contributed to the independent investigative work, once I provided the report. However, I have cancelled my service/MOT plan and will be staying with the very good, affordable, clear and trustworthy independent mechanic. I expected so much more from a main dealer.
