Ive held of writing a review for a bit but since talking to others I decided I should as when I came to this review section, I see no actual comments about how a lot of women have been made to feel by a certain artist at this tattoo studio ,even though its known by more then a few women. I will say most artists here and even reception are lovely otherwise. The studio has always had a banter / jokes vibe and a lot that is said can be a bit crude /rude despite this Ive always laughed it of and I have even had two amazing tattoos done here in the past strangely by the same artist Im referring too , I dont come here for the banter / vibes just the quality of the work. Unfortunately I had a poor experience this time with both the artist and of the quality of my latest tattoo . On occasion hands slip and thats fine as thats expected but when I attended the studio to get my tattoo finished , The artists hand was literally laid on top of my , his finger right over the middle part of my his hand facing upwards and he stared at me while doing so, he didnt move his hand quickly away either . I just froze, this happened twice through out my tattoo session but I didnt say anything as I felt awkward . I have many tattoos in awkward places done by male and female tattooist and I accept hand slips and can even accept the banter but this happened twice ! I was also asked if I fancied the person doing my tattoo and there was a comment made saying I shouldnt offend him while he was doing my tattoo almost like a warning that my tattoo could go wrong otherwise . my tattoo did go wrong and I even went back to let him know. Despite my experience, he offered one hour to fix it , the problem is the image looks nothing like it supposed to ! Theres a lot to fix and some bits cant be fixed . After going away and thinking about it I decided , I didnt want the same experience again also that I didnt want to risk another potential mess up on my skin . When I explained to the artist and compared the picture of the tattoo he done for me, side by side to the original , he insisted it was the angle I took the picture at and the colour I choose, even though the colour it is now, is still not the colour I choose. Others have seen my tattoo in real life and can see what I see too, the fact he tried to pass blame on to me is yet another reason I didnt take the extra hour. There was also another occasion when visiting to size up part of the tattoo which was on my hips , my thong strap was purposely pinged as a joke by the same artist when getting my tattoo measured up, as I said I can take a joke and Ive let things slide so far. I only came back as I really didnt want to have to get laser or find time of for a cover up session from another artist . I could of easily took the hour to fix my tattoo but when I took time to think and speak to others I realised I let too much slide and quite honestly dont trust the artist anymore and dont want to come back. All in all I feel really disappointed and wont be returning , I had my tattoo done in two sessions the top bit being roses / shading which was absolutely fine but the rest was not , neither was my experience.
