    Very poor service at Ipswich service department. Unable to turn around servicing in a full day, no communication the next day, unable to collect when stopping in on day 3 on the off chance that it might possibly be done (closed early). Left having to make alternative arrangements.

    I rang and selected the parts team on 11th July to enquire about availability of a part but the phone rang for 10 minutes with nobody picking up my call. I rang again later and chose a different option so I could speak to a receptionist. She tried to put me through to the parts department, but again nobody picked up. She asked me to try again in 10 minutes but I explained I had already done that and I needed to order a part urgently. She offered a call back so I provided my details. More than a week later and I have not been contacted. I also tried using the live chat on the website and was assured my parts enquiry would be passed on to the Ipswich team, again still nothing. I am without my car now, as my MOT has expired because it wouldnt have passed with a warning light on my dashboard. I desperately need to get this part on order, so Im not impressed at all.

    It should be noted that this Mercedes dealership in Ipswich no longer sells new smart cars. They are still able to service your smart car to the manufacturer standard and protocol (which they do very competently and professionally) but unfortunately no longer retail the sale of new smart cars.
