        Dropped in here to get some keys cut on Saturday morning. The usual very efficient and courteous service. Chap was kind enough to recommend Blends Cafe for breakfast round the corner which was also excellent

        I couldn't have hoped for a better service. Above and beyond the call of duty. Due to contracting covid I was unable to pick up a tankard that I'd had engraved in time to post it for my sons 21st birthday. John was kind enough to drop it off personally for me. Many thanks John.

        After quite a long and unsuccessful search, I was pleased to discover that I could find a tin of dubbin for nourishing and waterproofing some leather goods at Timpson. A lot of other retailers were rendered quizzical after asking if they sold dubbin because they had never heard of the product - including shoe sellers. But Timpsons are delightfully old school, so they knew and had what I needed. I will be visiting again.
