My husband and I went in for lunch on Wednesday. He had pilau rice and I had coconut rice, and we both had beef and what was referred to as a Kenyan salad but was actually a bit more of a fresh salsa. Everything was delicious and well priced and the girl was really nice.

As a keen cook I'm not easy to please when I eat out. Here I was thrilled to find extremely tasty Kenyan style meals served with a smile. I love the coconut beef and especially their signature dish served with a kind of African polenta. I am pleased they have vegan options too as several friends are veggy and vegan. A hidden treasure! The kitchen is in a friendly patchwork of micro-shops where there are tables and chairs for people to relax and eat their lunches. Highly recommended. Stefan Freedman - Ipswich
