        The Fore Street Baths are one of Ipswich's hidden architectural gems, tucked away on one of the town's many confusing corner junctions. The small building is Art Deco style, (built & opened; 1894), & the stonework has aged well, appearing quite quaint. Surprisingly still in use, considering it's located only half a mile from the much bigger, Crown Pools...

        This Victorian swimming pool although small is a real gem. It's 25 yards long with changing l cubicles around the sides. The staff are really friendly but check opening times as for general swimming it doesn't open until mid day at 12pm.
