Maidenhall Post Office

The advertised opening hours for the post office are not honoured. I arrived at 16:50 with a drop to be triumphantly told the post office had closed at 16:30 (Where in the world is this advertised???) and that my parcel was too big as they won't take anything for Parcelforce over 72cm. When I pointed out it mine was actually 67cm she snappily changed it to over 62cm. Either doesn't know what she was doing or couldn't be bothered to honour the contract they have with the post office, shouldn't be allowed to run a post office if you don't know how to in my opinion. Incredibly rude and unhelpful, I shall never return thankfully.

Just went there. The woman that worked there was very rude saying I can refuse to take your large letter because of the strike and in the end she was like go on then but if you're lucky it may be collected Monday. Wondering if she's gonna dump it in the bin but got a postage receipt in case

Use post office has no clue about packaging, run extremely poorly, considering it is Christmas month on a week day, zero packaging other than string and a large box, abysmal service; would no even allow me to use the scissors I could see right behind the til, judging atmosphere. Do not recommend

Very helpful staff, I had to return a Amazon item.. I checked all the open post offices and only two came up. First one even though staff apologized that the post office wasn't open until the afternoon gave me directions to this post office. I can understand the reason behind this, short staffed, lack of training.. and although both staff being helpful, the staff at this post office was very polite and friendly. Now I know not to waste my time at the other post office!
