        Friendly staff, however the food was just not up to scratch. We had a voucher for a free afternoon tea and I still felt the need to warn others.

        Nice coffee but service is slow. Not enough staff presumably; just 2 seem to be working and they are looking stressed. Pity because last March or thereabouts it was all much better.

        I've had to rescind my review. Unfortunately Patisserie Valerie Ipswich is no longer run as it once was. Gone is the fresh food (last time we tried to order a croque monsieur, they said they didn't have any? What ever happened to making them?). Also missing is the majority of the menu, and the positive dcor. This place is a shell of its former self.
