        Went to buy a new sewing machine. Not knowing what brand/type to buy. Had a knowledgeable chat to a young lady and a lovely chap. Was happy to spend as much as needed. But was pleasantly surprised that their job was to sell me what I needed. Not the most expensive. Got home and made my purchase from their website. Thank you so much for your help.

        I have been shopping at Franklins for over 20 years and always go there for sewing products. It is fantastic to see the lovely new store with such an incredible range of material. I went today to have my overlocker repaired and the man who fixed it was so patient and helpful and was very keen to ensure it was in good working order. The staff are always so helpful and cheerful and it is always a pleasure to visit.

        Staff are knowledgeable about their products and services and happily offer their own advice hacks for crafting projects. Good selection of specialist ribbons, trims, sequins, embroidery silks n threads and sewing tools. They will also advise on sewing machine issues with sound recommendations to resolve issues.
