The first point of criticism is that we were sat in the bar area, which wasnt ideal for our group. It ended up getting quite busy, and although not the fault of the restaurant, it would have been nice to know beforehand that we would be seated in the bar area rather than in the restaurant itself.
One thing to note is that the quality of ingredients is clearly excellent. The service is also good. The starters were all impressive. We were however let down by the mains. Although completely edible, and not terrible by any means, none of us were super impressed by our choices. Myself and partner had the pork, which was a little dry unfortunately. I usually love pork fillet so I was a bit disappointed. The cod dish was a bit salty for our tastes. The bean burger was rated as average, but for the price we expected more.
Overall the visit was satisfactory but I dont think we would return unfortunately.
