Alex is an awesome teacher with a great approach. I came to Alex as a complete novice having never played a guitar in my life and have been surprised how quickly I've progressed with his help. He's always careful to make sure you're practising the basics but also isn't afraid to push you to the next level which I really like!

Alex is a great teacher who is professional and relaxed. I am completely new to learning guitar in my 30s and Alex had been a great teacher and support, he has different methods that he can adapt to individual learning styles to help you learn and feel comfortable. I strongly recommend to anyone wanting to learn guitar but may be feeling nervous. I always thought I had no chance and no sense of rhythm but Alex has helped me to progress quickly

My 9 year old son has been Alex's student from the last 6 months and I am extremely happy with the way Alex has guided and coached him. He is very patient, polite and professional in his teaching and have always encouraged my son to do better. He has been very flexible in providing lessons at his studio and online during these difficult situations which ensured continuity in the guitar lessons. Alex has a knack to teach kids and adjusts to the pace at which they learn. My son looks forward to each class and never likes to miss one!. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone who wants to learn guitar..Thanks Alex!!

Alex is a great teacher, I get so much out of my lessons I have to immediately play when I get home to practice what I've learnt. I have used online resources for learning guitar but its not substitute for having somebody watching you and tailoring the lesson to what you want. I also really like the environment the lessons are in. It's a very nice light airy room with a lot of natural light. I know to some that may not matter so much but it is a very chilled out space that I look forward to going back to. Alex is excellent at teaching music theory as well. This is often peppered in amongst the song you are working on and so you come away having improved your playing but also your understanding at the same time. We all embark upon these things for one reason or another and for me personally as I imagine is the case for many picking up the guitar for the first time was born out of trying to process a great personal loss. That year was a difficult one for me and for whatever reason picking up the guitar seemed to help and knowing I had that lesson coming up gave me something to work towards. Having someone there to guide me through that in Alex made the process so much easier. I would recommend Alex to anyone wanting to learn the guitar. He's a great teacher, very understanding and has a very relaxed approach to teaching which is purely driven by whatever it is you want to focus on while offering guidance as to next path to take.
