Dans School of Motoring (DSM)

Not having driven for 40 years, Dan is an excellent instructor and gave me the confidence to drive again with only a couple of lessons. He is very friendly and calm and explained how best I could improve on my skills in today's driving conditions, allowing me to assess and focus on areas where I felt I needed guidance after such a long time of not driving. The lessons went quickly and were very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Dan to any motorist, new or old, who wants the independence of being able to drive.

After 9 years and 8 different driving teachers I finally passed my driving test with Dan. I came up from London because I couldnt get a test near where I live but my parents live near Ipswich. Dan fitted me in for a couple of days intensive lessons. It was his calm practice that helped me through and they were the best lessons I had over the course of my time practicing. Im a teacher myself and I honestly cant give him enough credit for his patience and encouragement. He is a truly remarkable teacher so I would definitely book him if youre thinking about it. Especially speaking as someone who had a lot of nervous anxiety about driving, he makes you feel really at ease. Thank you Dan! I just drove myself to the dentist and remembered to leave a review finally!

UPDATE: I passed my driving test first time the other day. Dan has been so amazing and supportive all the way to the end. I cannot recommend him enough to those looking for a patient, kind and encouraging driving instructor. Although I feel extremely happy to have passed, I will miss my regular driving lesson chats with Dan. He is so easy to talk to and is so knowledgable in his field and beyond. Dan, I would like to personally thank you so much for all of your help and hard work. I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor than you.

Best instructor ever! I was a complete beginner and a nervous wreck months ago now Ive passed first time! So informative and makes you feel very relaxed! Highly recommend learning with Dan.

Top bloke, brilliant instructor, felt at ease the whole time, I would recommend Dan to anybody who's wanting to learn.
