AVOID AT ALL COSTS especially if you have mental health issues... Was with this surgery for a year and you never speak to the same person twice, so very hit and miss as to whether you are taken seriously or not. Receptionists are blunt, unhelpful and sometimes downright rude. Final straw for me was being told to come off an SSRI after 14 months with no tapering down and no advice or warning on withdrawal symptoms and how to deal with them.. Thank you Burlington for rendering me incapable of going to work and putting me at risk to myself - I am lucky enough to have a good supportive network of friends and colleagues who have kept me safe, but for those that aren't as fortunate and are with this surgery.... Good luck.

Absolutely discusting! My son urgently needed an appointment and I called up at 8am and kept getting to voice mail for over an hour!!! Called again at 9 then it rang loads and went to voicemail! Kept doing this multiple times!!! I called at 3pm after work and they said ring at 8am!!! I also found the lady I spoke to VERY RUDE. I dont want to use up hospital time people need that but my son needs to be seen!!!! I have now changed doctors and I do NOT recommend.

Staff have awful attitudes to work and deliberately lie to you. Most recently we tried to book an appointment with the travel nurse nearly 3 months before our travel. We were told it's too early, we have to call no earlier than 1st Nov (travelling in December) We managed to get a phone appointment today (21st Nov) only to be told it's too late to get some vaccinations because it's too short notice and other won't give us the best protection because they are most effective a longer time after taking them. Another issue was being told it's a phone appointment then at 3pm on a Friday afternoon getting a text to say my appointment was in surgery. Another 45 minute phone call on hold got me through to someone, only to be told "just ignore the text it was sent by mistake"..?! Not long ago I was also rushed to A&E and discharged with the advice to get an urgent appointment with the GP in the morning to follow up on the next steps of treatment. I tried calling as soon as they were "open" and the line was engaged for an hour and a half. I tried multiple times throughout the day and finally got through after lunch. I explained the situation and was told there's no appointments and I could not even get an emergency appointment. So, still in a panic from having heart-attack/stroke symptoms the previous day with no answers I got back onto 111. They straight away put through a referral to Burlington Road to get me an appointment with a GP later that day. I have no idea why I had to go through that process when the receptionist simply listening and being a bit empathetic could have saved the trouble. They say that the abuse their staff gets is increasing but it's no surprise when they talk to you like trash and give you false information on literally every interaction. I am always polite and upbeat when talking on the phone, even when I'm not feeling well, so it's quite disheartening to be treated this way personally. When I was told by a receptionist that I "should try again first thing in the morning" I told her I try that every time and it's always engaged. She said they have 50 lines open which is clearly not true as I've never been above 4 in the queue after getting repeated engaged tones..

I applied 2 months back to this GP at is near my house and supposed to be health provider. No answer yet. They dont pick up calls. Just an inefficient government run enterprise and this review will have no effect at you are stuck with NHS and its inefficiencies.

Worst surgery I've ever been with can never get an appointment, oh yeah phone at 8am and you might get through around 9.30 am to be told there's no appointments left. The lady on the reception desk is so rude and what an attitude.
