Orwell Lady river trips

Great day out on the picturesque Orwell River -- well-organised and comfortable boat ideal for families. Interesting commentary on the stunning scenery. One niggle was that the harbour master kept the boat waiting in the sun for over an hour from the appointed embarkation time in order to let a variety of large pleasure boats of the wealthy through the lock first! Clearly not a socialist!!

Booked the three and half hour trip to Felixstowe and Harwich on a bright sunny warm afternoon. The commentary on the river and surrounding areas was very well presented and interesting. Clean and tidy boat with large selection of drinks and snacks on board. Had a thoroughly great afternoon. Would recommend a trip to anyone looking for a layer back relaxing afternoon.
