Why is the Martlesham store closing? Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Bought my bike there last year and numerous accessories since. Always given the best advice and help with products and also the time required to make the right decision. Something you dont get at other stores. I shall sorely miss this store and can only hope that the decision is reversed.

The people who work at Evans Cycles Ipswich (in Martlesham Heath) have always been very helpful and informative. In August 2022 I bought an e-bike there which was prepared for me to use before I collected it. I felt able to drop in again with any questions and was confident that advice would be available or adjustments done if appropriate. The bike runs well and I have enjoyed using it. It came with a 12 week service included which was done later in 2022. The service resolved any issues which had arisen so I was very happy about that too. Thanks for your help Andy, Evan, Nicole, and several other people whose names I don't know. One factor in deciding to buy from Evans was that there was local expertise if I had a problem with the bike. Consequently, I was very surprised and disappointed this morning to see that the store is to close.

Popped in to buy a bike and saw that the place is closing down. Such a shame because the staff are clearly passionate about bikes and know what they are talking about. I bought a bike but felt like a vulture circling around. Such a shame when big companies take over smaller ones and this is the result.
