I have been at this Bramford Road Branch since 1971, when l married my account was made into a joint account, this we have kept as well as other accounts. I am disabled & there's 2 parking spaces as well as at least another 10 normal spaces. The staff are lovely & now its closing - WHY??? The Cornhill Branch is right in the centre, no parking for some distance away. Then have to queue......crazy what is going on???

Have seen this branch is closing permanently in early May..how ridiculous is that!!.Its said that they doing it cause less people using bank .That is as rubbish as their poor service as an excuse to force people onto online services cause they no longer feel wish to give face to face service with their customers ..as banks go they not alone there are they .my experience with lloyds has always been a good one as they hold my deeds to my house .. Bramford road as a branch are good branch ..its lloyds as a whole that isn't..its a company running away from direct customer contact ..even running away from a one time brilliant invention...the humble Phone ..not every body wants to go online as a choice ..its their way of not speaking direct to customers , especially vulnerable ones..That is the real point of getting away from direct person to person contact ...me myself ,yeah I am one of them they trying to avoid speaking too..they have been doing that to me for nearly a year ....that is why they closing the branch and other branches ...they trying to push away person to person to person contact ...a trait not all their customers like us actually want or agree agree with ..no thought or care about how their customers feel about it....its a clear case of avoiding every problem and every concern customers have ...an important part of wat banking is supposed to be about ...i will not be forced onto online banking ..shutting down branches may be your way of doing things lloyds bank , it aint mine ....and many others that use the branch...its vital for people as customers we thought we are ...i personally have had a year of hell trying to speak to a mortgage advisor ..i even arranged to meet an advisor face to face after months of trying they arranged for personal reasons for me to meet them at Bramford Road...I get there on time then get rudely told no appointment been made here ...i get rudely turned away ...later during a calling i was informed i wouldn't have seen an advisor at all ....was told i would of been left in a side room and have access to another phone ........shocking service in any ones estimation!!!!!!! ...real
