Absolutely wonderful - stunning countryside; the cottages have so much attention to detail, are comfortable and extremely clean, and if you have kids, this is the place for them: goats, chickens and giant rabbits, and a fabulous play area in the open barn. Your hosts are the most wonderful people too. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Hermitage Farm last summer and are heading back for another week this year! The cottages are comfortable and well appointed, with gorgeous views. My daughter loved the play barn and being close to the animals, especially Sam the dog! The welcome brownies were absolutely delicious as well! Very close to Alton Towers and lots of other things to do locally including children's farm, potteries, and the beautiful Peak District. Very highly recommended, although would almost like to keep it a secret for myself!!
