Sense Ability Therapy C.I.C

I First came two years ago, and couldn't walk 4 yards without an Scooter. When I left on March 24th this year, I went home having used Birthday money to pay for a further 10 weeks. Fell on the back doorstep and received a spiral fracture to my right hip. I had to learn to walk again. Jenny and the girls welcomed me back with joy and thanks to Tracey I am now managing to walk from the car to the"GYM" on my own. The help and encouragement is wonderful.

I sought help from Jenny after recommendation following a brain haemorrhage and stroke in February 2020. I was in hospital for 6 weeks and for the first 2 I had severe left side weakness but progressed to being able to stand and take a few steps before being discharged. As this coincided with the first lock down unfortunately I was unable to receive the physio after care that was desperately needed . In pain I turned to Jenny who fist made some home visits and once restrictions were lifted I attended weekly one to one clinic sessions at Dainton. As my physical abilities improved I added a weekly occupational therapist session and also a group circuit training course. No words are really enough to thank Jenny and her team for the support and tools they have provided me over the last 3 years, I now have the confidence to cope and accept that leading a different life, although with its limitations and challenges is still good. I have no hesitation in recommending Senceability therapy to anyone that has suffered a brain trauma. Paul Lewis

After my stroke I had limited help from the NHS mainly due to COVID. Sense ability therapy has given me back my confidence got me walking again reassured me that feeling s I was experiencing was quite normal post stroke.I am so grateful to the whole team.

Jenny's diagnostic session and the exercise regime that she created for me went beyond anything that I have experienced from the neuro-physiotherapists that I previously consulted. I practice this regime daily and I honestly believe that Jenny has helped me to take control of my life and hold back the progression of my condition. Thank you Jenny and to all of the team at Sense Ability.
