Dornafield Touring Caravan Park

Updated April 2023 No longer under the same ownership, taken over by caravan club. Straight off they have now banned tents and implemented a 15 surcharge for non members. A real shame as it had a lovely tent field. Great site , good facilities, old farm now a caravan site that has been that way for many decades. No noisy clubhouse etc, dies have s children's play park and walks into wood and dog run, tennis court. Small shop on site where bread etc can be ordered in. Friendly owners, caravan storage available and seasonal pitches although a waiting list for these. Location is down a narrow lane but plenty of passing places. Ideal base for exploring Totnes, Torquay, Dartmoor etc .

We had an excellent stay. The facilities are excellent and the location is lovely. We will definitely return.

Spent a night at Dornafield last night in our camper. One of the most well maintained sites I've ever been to. Pitches are very well laid out and fully serviced with water and electric. The toilets and showers were spotless, plentiful and really well appointed. They even had radio playing in there over the tannoy! We were greeted at the reception by two extremely friendly staff members who couldn't have made us feel more welcome. All in all a perfect stay.
