Kindertons should have told us at the time that they could not deal with the claim as my wife had no third party details (they drove off when she was driven off the road) but this didnt happen until 4 days later. Subsequently we were passed to the underwriter AXA to deal with but Kindertons had already instructed the recovery and storage of our vehicle by Mansfield who subcontracted to Roger Rescue.
Both Kindertons and AXA have wiped their hands of us because they cant/wont admin that damage was caused whilst under their instruction. Both sides have argued it could have happened whilst under the others instruction but have provided no evidence to the contrary. Meanwhile we are left with a damaged car to fix via our own pocket despite having evidence to show that we werent responsible. There doesnt appear to have been any communication between Kindertons and AXA to try and sort this despite AXA being their underwriter?! My wife has made in excess of 30+ calls to try and sort this with no luck.
How they have dealt with the claim is disgraceful and the stress they have caused myself and my 7 month pregnant wife is appalling and they should be ashamed of themselves!
