        Seriously can't fault it, walked in, two adults and 1 dog for food, limited availability only one chef but luckily they fitted us in and l'm so pleased they did, service, food & drinks simply brilliant - black pudding started had the nod of approval and my fish cakes (salmon) were very tasty mains cheese and onion pie with homemade chips peas and gravy hit the top spot with many nods and my salmon with hollandaise sauce potatoes & green beans was delicious and devoured the local cider was a big hit, no room for dessert we were full to the brim. Top marks all rounds The Craven Heifer 10/10

        Nearby activities: Beautiful countryside, amazing views, fantastic walks. Food & drinks: Nothing fancy, but lots of flavour and good sized portions. Good honest English pub food.
