Pinecroft Lodges

Lodge is perfect except a bit cold on the bedrooms however we enjoyed staying in here except for the caretaker which is rude to us on the way to the main gate the gate doesn't work.due to freezing condition instead of saying he will sort out the gate he ask us why we drove on the grass which we think we didn't it was thick snow on that 3 days holiday driving path is not really visible I think this guy need proper training how treat customer properly we were planning to comeback again but we already change our mind

We were a group of enthusiastic hikers 22 staying at the Timberlodge for our annual Xmas weekend. Great size of the accommodation, sufficient bathrooms and dining area. Ranger on site was responsive (minor issue with the heating on first night - he was there within 2 minutes of my call). Might have been a bit tight for 40 (as it sleeps) but it was what we needed. Fantastic location for the hills too, Ingleton village within walking distance and it has a lot to offer - pubs, cafes, swimming pool to name the few. Highly recommend. Contact prior was very good too. Thanks for having us - Chester Great Outdoors Club

Location is great but disappointed with Pine lodge in 7 days we only got one hot bath had to boil saucepans to fill it and the shower was either freezing cold or piping hot very dangerous.. the site manager came but it didnt make any difference the day before we left it was supposed to be fixed but still couldnt get a full bath.. not what 4 people need after out hiking all day Kitchen really could do with more equipment not one serving bowl I stayed in Pinecroft in 1990 and its exactly the same It could do with updating especially when we observed local cottages Love the area but definitely wouldnt stay at Pinecroft
