My son had been very ill for 6 weeks and despite speaking to 3 doctors and a consultant we had no diagnosis let alone treatment. I phoned to speak to the pharmacist one weekend, they listened to the details and correctly ascertained the cause of the problem. They recommended over the counter medication which worked and by the following day he felt so much better. We then saw another GP who said that we had done all the detective work for him and the fact that the medication had worked was very significant. This lead to my son being referred to an ENT consultant who has been able to treat the problem. We are extremely grateful to the pharmacist who was able to achieve what 4 doctors could not.
