I would definitely recommend Penare Construction after they completed our garage to office conversion in November. We're really really pleased with it and they were briliant and well priced. If you were thinking of having any building work done I'd definitely recommend giving Skip Mccabe a call! The WORST experience!. I could write a novel on the horrible experience with this awful human. Skip walked off the job last year in the middle of our renovation, leaving us with no home to live in with our 1 year old child. I have a list of contractors that have told us that they would never work with him again after seeing the work (or lack of) that this man did to our home. Cutting corners wherever he could until he finally realised what a horrible position he had gotten himself into and had to walk off the job. Luckily we found an incredible firm that was able to come in and fix ALL of the damage he had created and we now have the home of our dreams. If I could just help one person and keep this man away from your home, I will have done my duty. I am thrilled with the work done by Skip and Penare construction on my kitchen/wetroom extension. It was a quirky, awkward space available and the finished extension is better than I ever imagined it could be. Skip and his team were reliable, punctual, competitively priced and the finished product is a testament to their hard work. Despite difficulties with supply chains during lockdown the job finished very close to the scheduled end date. Skip was always available to answer any questions that arose as the project evolved and kept me up to date throughout. I would happily recommend Penare construction to a friend and would like to say a massive thank you to the whole team who helped on the build.

I highly recommend Penare Construction. Theyve just finished an extension to our house and we are super pleased with it. Skip and his team have been great, so a big thank you to them. Very professional and easy to have around. Skip told us that we were in safe hands before Penare started the build and we certainly were! Stuck to their fixed price and no extras. Nicely finished and ready for us to move right in. We now have a great office and laundry - house feels much bigger. Vaulted ceiling with large Velux windows so a wonderful bright workspace and a great feature for any future buyers. Thanks again Skip! T Bowerbank, Falmouth
