Cambridge Scaffolding

Poor customer service. I scheduled Cambridge Scaffolding for two jobs, both of which failed.The scaffold was not erected on the scheduled days; I phoned the company, and they said it would be installed the next morning. The following morning, I called the company and was advised they were on theirway. I called the company several times to check on their progress, but there was no answer or return calls. At 2pm, I finally got through and was told they were still on their way. The request was cancelled because I did not believe they were on their way. There was also no apology for the poor service.

The review was going to be 4 stars, but the removal of the scaffolding is proving a challenge. I got a quote, agreed the delivery, and was waiting for it (1 day before my solar install). No one turned up, and when I called, they forgot about the order. In fairness to them, they rushed to get here the next day, and the scaffolding was put up by about 1pm, which meant a delay for my builders, but they agreed to just come later, so no issue. Cambridge Scaffolding was then helpful as I needed to add another run of scaffolding not originally quoted. However, after the work, thats where the bad service began. I asked for it to be removed a week later and was promised that they will come on Thursday / Friday that week. No one came. When I called both days, I was promised a call back in 15 minutes, no such call back. The following week same, when I called, they pretended they would come Thursday / Friday - again no one. Then then third week. I am getting complaints from the neighbours about light being blocked - I can hold them off if I have an honest answer. Just tell me when you can remove the scaffolding and keep to your word and I will improve my score. Its the lying and fobbing off that is pretty insulting. PS. After this review, as if by magic, with us in the morning removing it- review improved as promised!
