        Having used the High Street "chain" opticians in the past, it was a real tonic to use Smith & Walker for an eye test for my 91 year old mother. Easy access to the premises, friendly and patient staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Guess where I will be going when I change MY glasses?!? Thank you for your service!

        Having had two bad experiences with two large chain Optometrists in the town with their fast food style, I thought that I would take a gamble and try the Immingham branch of Smith & Walker. I confess that I wasnt expecting too much initially, but the website looked good and the place was accessible and had free near-by parking. I had a short wait for a first appointment, which was no bad thing as I thought that they must be fairly busy, and if so, they must be quite popular. When I attended I could tell that the staff were managing things appropriately given the Covid situation. I found the staff to be polite, friendly and professional. I was blown away with the examination by Dr. Lisa Skaff which was thorough to say the least. In fact I never felt hurried by anyone, at any point during my several visits. I actually said to my husband that attending there is a bit like going back in time to when customer service meant something. They actually have a nice range of spectacles and from what I could tell from others attending, they have a very good back up service too. I certainly recommend Smith & Walker Immingham Branch. Thank you.
