Quinta Restaurant

If you like Portuguese food cooked by English chief and carrot and coriander soup along side wet rocket leaves with bland prawns then go here. Frozen cod that's wet due to defrost alongside watery so called lobster sauce, fish soup with tons of potatoes then go here. Bland fish soup supposedly Portuguese dosnt come with potatoes but hey ho, if your not into authentic flavours go here. A waitetress that thinks she's the owner and you want to spend over 150, then go here ..... Nothing stood up to authentic Portuguese food nothing....going to inauthentic restaurants with bland food no flavours only inspires me to know that my flavoursome authentic food will go down a treat if I open my own food quarter. Regards, waiters, I'd choose waiters who know flavours and admire humble enough to acknowledge inauthentic tastes. Carrot and corriender soup does not belong to Portuguese culnerary dishes nor tons of potatoes in every main dish....we struggled to get into a decent restaurant due to them being full...this was not, at 3pm Sunday afternoon and when we walked past later at 5pm, still empty, I'd say, bland food, no atmosphere. Then again, I like flavours . For ikley a supposedly upcoming area, quinta sadly is inconsistent with the philosophy of ikley..... Others may think differently

Tom's back in the kitchen - a welcome return! Great food as always. My Calamari starter was excellent - crispy coating on the outside and deliciously tender inside. The stock for the Fish Stew has a real depth of flavour. We'll be back....

Lovely restaurant with great service. We had a nice Portuguese wine with Cod in a lobster sauce. The cod was amazing, if I lived closer I'd go back this week !! The owners were very friendly, I'd highly recommend this place

Great meal at La Quinta last night - lovely food, good wine, friendly efficient service and good value!! I would definitely recommend you try it!!
