What an amazing place,loved the house, the gardens & the furniture is original. So much history & our tour guide had so much knowledge of the place. We were in the house for an hour & spent time wandering around the garden for another 20 & it was worth the 11 fee each. The cafe was not open when we went as only one staff member who was the tour guide who did a great job making our visit great. If you visit Ilfracombe, this is a must see place for all ages who love history & even you may hear or see one of the ghosts who used to live there. A highlight on our last day of our holiday.

What an amazing place,loved the house, the gardens & the furniture is original.
So much history & our tour guide had so much knowledge of the place.
