        Nice pub near a beach, gardens and the theatre (hence the name). Nice pub, nice landlord, pool tables, good beer. What more do you need?

        I was treated here for a Birthday meal. I was quite impressed. A wonderful homely atmosphere even though they were exceptionally busy. The service was excellent and so was the carvery. I will definitely be going back.

        Rememberance parade drinks. I visited with the local Royal British Legion and Royal Marines. Soup and a roll was provided which I must say was delicious and thank you very much for the very kind gesture. The ale flowed and was delicious too. On behalf of the RBL thank you again and we hope to be welcomed back next year.
