Lee Chapel & Schoolhouse

WOW! What a gem. We're currently sat on the veranda looking out across a treeline that stretches down to the cove at Lee Bay. As I sit here, I can fully appreciate why people built a chapel here. The conversation into a house is sympathetic to the building's original purpose, with enough attention to modern living to create the perfect balance between home comforts and traditional aesthetics. I love it

Fantastic stay at Lee Chapel and School House. Really peaceful with superb views. We really enjoyed the space downstairs with the lovely wood burner in the evenings. Lots of logs left for us which was great. Fantastic walks straight on to the Tors from the house. Thoroughly recommend.

We had the most wonderful holiday here and Ginny was very helpful and friendly. We rented both the chapel and schoolhouse and brought our teenage and adult children and 2 dogs. The properties are spotlessly clean and very beautiful with lovely decor, ornaments and yet also very spacious, homely and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the luxury robes and stunning bathrooms. We were lucky with the weather so relaxed in the gorgeous garden and used the BBQ. We spent many happy days exploring the bay and delicious meals in the Grampus Inn nearby. A few trips further afield to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe were lovely but nice to come back to Lee with its lovely craft shop caf and we also hired canoes from the little carpark by the bay. We will be back again! Thank you Ginny.
