This a beautiful guest house spotlessly clean. Nice rooms relaxing atmosphere. Piper and Terence are lovely and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is delicious with great choices. There is also a beautiful garden with seating areas. The house also has a gym, sauna and Reading room. We a had a great stay there and would thoroughly recommend

Super experience staying with Piper and Terence this weekend 30th April fantastic host,Stunning accommodation, immaculately clean, warm and friendly. We stayed in the olive green room. It was amazing. The facilities were top drawer. The garden is beautiful and to top it off the breakfasts are wonderful. Can't recommend the place highly enough,

We are just back from a wonderful stay at the Devonian. Piper and Terence are really generous and welcoming hosts, and have a wealth of local information and knowledge. Their attention to detail is fantastic. The house and rooms are tastefully and beautifully decorated, the facilities numerous (bar, gym, cinema, hot tub), the ambiance is just perfect. There is a large, beautiful, slightly wild garden with many areas to sit. Our suite itself was lovely - large, quiet and comfortable and with everything we needed, and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious and with lots of well thought out options, and we really appreciated the real china and linen napkins! The house is a short walk from the coastal path and other routes, a short walk down to the tunnel beaches, and probably a 15 min walk from the lovely old town and harbour. We were really impressed and would happily return - in fact we are planning to! I can't think of a nicer place we have stayed before. Just lovely. Thank you Chris and Trish

WOW, Just WOW. Recently stayed at this lovely guest House and was made to feel very welcome by Terence & Piper. The cleanliness, food, facilities, beds, decoration really exceeded all expectations. The hosts are meticulous and fastidious and attention to detail is beyond any other hotel or guest house I have ever stayed at. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced, with a vast variety of fresh pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruits, selection of cereals and fruit juices/coffee/teas. Full English cooked to perfection. It has a very homely feel to it, and once chatting to Terence and Piper I felt that I had known them for years. Will definitely make use of some of the facilities on next visit. Would not hesitate to recommend The Devonian to anyone who is looking for something a little bit special.
