In was fr einem Ton. Dringende Schulung in Kundenorientierung ntig. (Translated by Google) Remind me with horror! The location has typical British charm (with typical desolate corners not only in the room and bathroom, which experience has shown that you book) - but that's all. However, the feather duster could have gone through it again beforehand. First of all: I have 130 hotel nights a year. #experience. But this "boss" tops everything, is an impertinence and cannot be tolerated. A planned arrival at 10:30 p.m. by phone in no way justifies such unfriendly, even very cheeky behavior on the phone and upon arrival! The entire arrival process, from unloading the luggage to breakfast, was harsh, inflexible and hard to beat in terms of unfriendliness. It was not possible to go to the room to get the luggage out of the car. She would have to lock up because she would live inside. In what tone. (As if I wasn't able to lock the front door on my own - to use just one example). The woman would have been surprised if I could speak English half as well as German. Urgent training in customer orientation needed. However, experience has shown that there will be no willingness to do this. Let's not even talk about self-reflection here. A "bitter" woman who didn't understand with arrogance and hubris what real guest orientation means. Location 2-3 stars. Overall, however, only one star can be given.

In the beginning, Kate, the owner answered my questions very efficiently before I travelled to the area, her welcome was delightful and warm and there was ample parking. The room was bright, fresh, clean and there was a kettle with tea and milk which was exactly what I needed after a long drive. Kate gave great advice about where me and my family could go and the next morning, the breakfast was varied, fresh and the portions were large. I would recommend that anyone who wants to go to Rye, Hastings, Winchelsea and Icklesham should stay at the Manor Farm Oast because you wont be disappointed and will love all it has to offer including Kates huge smile.

this was a birthday surprise for my husband a night away in Rye. As we drove towards this beautiful B & B it was breathtaking views and first impressions were very good. As we arrived we were greeted by Kate who made us feel so welcome, showed us to our room which was immaculate & had everything we needed. Her attention to detail regarding Covid and the little extras in our room were appreciated. We were handed a little gift bag with face masks and hand sanitizer. She suggested a lovely pub for an evening meal which was great value, tasty food and lovely friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All local sourced produce and Kates own homemade sausages. We thoroughly enjoyed our little break and only sad it wasnt long enough. Thank you Kate we look forward to seeing you again very soon
