Cholsey Farm Riding

We have just returned from wonderful stay at Cholsey Farm, Ted & Jackie are very attentive hosts. Our horses soon settled in the large airy stables and enjoyed afternoons in well fenced grassy paddocks. Laminated maps of rides are detailed and varied. My favourite was through Turville village followed by a long canters up grassy fields. Although a canter round the fields on perfect ground came a very close second.We got the hang of the OS MAPS app after a few wrong turns,do remember to put your phone on low data mode. The Piggery can accommodate up to three, good water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. A small kitchen has fridge microwave and hot plates but no oven. The Chiltern Fox, a short walk away, serves Michelin standard meals. We are looking forward to returning to Cholsey Farm to enjoy Jackie & Teds hospitality and beautiful Chiltern countryside soon.

Secure parking, mapped routes of varying lengths, well maintained and great going, pub/cafe stops with tie-ups. All in all fantastic!

Just back from another lovely visit and this time we even stayed the night. Jackie and Ted very helpful and organised as always. Lovely room and facilities. Secure for all your stuff. Took 2 pups and 2 horses and great fun was had by all. Beautiful scenery, walking and hacking. Highly recommend.

We had the best holiday. Ted and Jackie were so warm and welcoming. The riding was epic, the countryside was stunning. We will be back.
