        Just finished a delicious fish and chips from Philpotts. One of the very best Ive had. Fish was lightly battered and very tasty. A rare compliment I can say is NOT A SINGLE BAD CHIP! All were crispy yet soft inside. Thoroughly recommend.

        Just had dinner from Philpotts and it was lovely! The fish was huge and everyone said it was very nice, I had battered sausage and it was lovely, the chips were some of best chips I've had from a chip shop. The man working was very friendly and we will certainly be going back.

        Philpotts is in my opinion, the best Fish and Chips I have ever had (and I have had a few Fish in Chips!). I used to frequent this chippy as a kid in the 80s. And I have been in love with it ever since. Any trip to Hythe has to include a trip to Philpotts! Absolutely delicious.
