Cant speak to your GP face to face anymore. Have to tell the Receptionist the ins and outs, get told to phone back at 8am the next day. And no information passed on. Broken system.

To MB1 whom has a great experience getting their Covid jab - it's because they get PAID for this service. I can assure you, if you were ill and need an appointment.... Totally different story :(

I am currently looking after my 5 year old grandson whilst my daughter is in Spain as her dad is on his deathbed. My grandson has had diarrhoea for 4 days and the pharmacy said I now needed to see a GP. I took him to mine, the red and green Practice. The receptionist said they wont see him as where he lives in Totton is not that far. I told her I didnt know as they had recently moved from Hythe to Totton. I tried to explain about where my daughter was and the pressure and heartbreak she was under, especially as it was only today she had to give consent to withdraw treatment for her father, and that I couldnt burden her trying to find out their GP surgery. Receptionist said they couldnt help and I would have to find out. My grandson is fine, no pain, no sickness, so I just needed advice. Was told again, they cant do that! Absolutely shocking surgery! Im definitely moving from there! I was under the impression you can go to any surgery if you were away from home for more than 25 hours!
