The Tree and Hedge company(father and son) have been looking after my hedges for 13 years. Their work is very professional, and their workers diligent and friendly. Would highly recommend them

From what started out brilliantly decended into a really poor showing. Booked to use Connor to trim back our two large oak trees and also remove holly, fig and ivy from the base. Connor knows his stuff and really impressed me. He quoted a days rate and said that he and 4 other guys can do it on a day - fair enough. On the day he didnt arrive and after chasing him I was informed that he had to put the day back to the next as his climbers let him down on the day - no problem They turned up the next day and got stuck. Managed to remove most of the ivy and make a start on one of the trees. At the end of the day Connor informed me that they couldnt complete the work as the ivy took longer than expected. He told me not to worry and said hed finish off the trees at his expense as he misquoted for the work. I paid the day rate after being chased that evening by Connor only a few hours after the work was done to pay the invoice - fair enough. I was happy with the work. Since then Ive received the odd text and oh Im busy on answering the phone. Ive so far been booked in several times for him to come back and yet he never does. I have to chase to get an excuse as to why he didnt show. Whats so disappointing is that we would have happily paid for the additional work to be completed but hes completely let himself and his company down by avoiding contact to actually complete the work. The last kick in the teeth is that after cutting our oak back, instead of removing the branches (as stated in the quote), they were just dumped in our back garden out of sight... We wont use the companies services again due to this lack of professionalism and communication which is so frustrating because he seems a good guy.
