We always use Princes Building for any work at home. They are trustworthy, prompt and very tidy! Their workmanship and attention to detail is second to none and Steve is a down to earth chap that tells you how it is, keeps you informed at every point and delivers a quality product that is so lacking in many other builders these days. I highly recommend Princes Building and am about to commission them to build an extension on my house.

I required disability grant work to be undertaken at my property in Ilford and Princess Builders, Steve Hinder successfully won the contract. It was extensive interior reconstruction and erecting a new rear first floor extension. Steve and his team worked around the needs of my family were prompt and clean throughout the three month build. I was well informed about the progress of the work, receiving daily updates. On conclusion of the work I was 100% satisfied with the finished work, beyond my expectation. So impressed with the professional workmanship that I invited Princess Builders and Steve Hinder back to undertake further private work with the same professional finish he didn't let my family and myself. I would recommend Steve Hinder and Princess Builders without reservation.

We had Princes Builders in for a set of renovation works. Steve helped us plan the stages of work to minimise the time and disruption. The work was completed to an excellent standard by his team. We would definitely use Steve and his team again. Highly recommended.

We would agree with some of the positive comments on this page. We used Princes Builders for extensive changes to our home in the last 12 months including a complete kitchen 'knock through' and large loft conversion with en suite. From the moment Steve walked through the door to discuss our thoughts and plans I felt at ease and comfortable with him. We had seen several possible building companies, they had all provided quotes of varying qualities but none had really taken the time to talk through what we really wanted. Steve spent an age with us, games us plenty of advice and things to think about and we felt both reassured and encouraged; we were thinking of major changes to our family home, a significant financial outlay and investment and in Steve I quickly realised that here is a guy who can help me and in whom I can trust. Crucially, he was the only contractor who suggested changes to our plans that would actually save us money and have the same effect; he was actually taking money out of the job on first visit. Once the works started Steve's team couldn't have been better, they worked hard, they were unbelievably tidy, they were considerate towards our neighbours, all the guys were courteous towards me and my family and even encouraged my daughters to visit the site and see the progress being made, Steve was very aware that this is our home, not just a 'project'. Any snagging and possible solutions were shared and discussed with me beforehand and equally Steve regularly shared thoughts and ideas that hadn't occurred to us in the planning. Inevitable with any significant build there were some unexpected costs or some areas that didn't go quite to plan initially. This was never a problem with Steve, not at any point did I feel uncomfortable with regards to raising anything with him, he always listened to what I had to say, was always willing to discuss things through and without fail we reached agreement. After care has been great too on the odd occasion we've had to contact Steve, as per usual, prompt response and nothing's been too much trouble. I would, and have already, recommended Steve to friends and neighbours should they be considering any home improvements. Should we need anything further I wouldn't hesitate to contact Steve again.

Runaround Princes laid a concrete parking area for our disabled daughter's Mobility vehicle. They were, on their own admission, unable to obtain the correct material for the expansion joints between the concrete sections. they used chipboard instead. A year later, the chipboard had all rotted away leaving deep open slots down which all the rainwater flows each time it rains. I called Princes boss/owner Steve Hinder and he proceeded to give me the most shameless runaround over 3 or 4 months: "I'm driving mate can you call me back", "I don't have your number can you email it to me", "I didn't receive the email try again", "Oh - oh - I can't hear you - is there someone there"?... If you want to do business with this hypocrite, you need your head examined. As a disabled family, we have found out the hard way.
