BEWARE ALL EVENT ORGANISERS, NEVWR USE THIS COMPANY!!! Will take the money up front and never implement the services. Awful, awful customer service - 9 months on and still waiting for implementation. AVOID!!!!

A recruiter sent me a spam message on LinkedIn that they were looking for new BDRs (Business Development Representatives) in London and that I could be a good fit. I decided to give Cvent UK a chance, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Their recruitment team is based in India to where they outsource their operations, and it's all over the shop. Scheduled meetings start late, technical problems, and recruiters won't switch their cameras on even though they requested a Microsoft Teams/Zoom meeting... They don't know anything about the company headquarters, its locations, or the work environment because they are based thousands of miles away in Mumbai, even though their Linkedin profile location is set up as Virginia in the United States... They try to offer you a salary which will not even allow you to rent a studio flat within 30-40min commute distance to the company office in Central Office and invite you to an 'assessment day' which is scheduled to start at 9:30 am and finish at 5 pm (!). After 40 minutes of the interview, the recruiter also has a 'small thing' to add at the end - Cvent has the 'retention fee' in their employment contracts, and if you decide to leave in 18 months, you will have to pay them back 5,000 (!) ... AVOID.
